In connection with all of them, preliminary investigations are conducted in accordance with the international standard for testing and investigation of the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA, and the resulting materials are submitted to the Ethics Commissions of national anti-doping agencies and international federations for review and final conclusion. . In the case of confirmation of each anti-doping violation, a specific punishment is applied to the athlete, coach, medical and other personnel and the sports organization as a whole, depending on its severity and social impact.

Types of punishment may include exclusion from sports for a certain period of time (from a few months to life), setting various monetary fines, etc.
