The Asian Weightlifting Championship, which starts on 3 February, is being held at the Yunusabad Sports Complex. Taking into account that, this competition is significant in terms of prestige, by the invitation of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan, specialists of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan organized a seminar training before the competition.

Representatives of the countries participating in the competition, athletes, coaches and specialists participated in the seminar. The seminar provided detailed information about the latest news, changes and additions implemented by the Agency's staff in the field of anti-doping.

On the other hand, the athletes were approached individually and informed about the doping control process during the competition. During the seminar, the participants asked the experts their questions and received the necessary recommendations.

It is  worth noting particularly that, long-term cooperation has been established between the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan and the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan and similar seminars and round-table discussions are held before each competition.
