The “Play True” event is a global initiative organized annually by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The main purpose of this annual event is to promote clean sport and encourage athletes to achieve success without the use of doping. It emphasizes recognizing doping as one of the major threats to sport and aims to educate athletes at all levels to pursue their careers doping-free. By participating in the event, athletes demonstrate their commitment to integrity and fair play.
The National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan also organizes various activities each year to support this initiative. This year, in honor of “Play True Day,” the Agency held a special event in the “Ecopark” recreational area located in the capital city.
During the event, Agency staff members promoted a healthy lifestyle by engaging in early morning walks, running, and physical exercises. Special “Play True” T-shirts were distributed to fellow citizens who have chosen to live a healthy life.
